They say life is not a bed of roses. But there always are exceptions to the rule. So, we decided to dedicate this issue of asiaSpa India to dream life – Platinum Living as we call it. Beginning with 10 Platinum Spa Retreats around the world and focusing on the Platinum Spa Treatments we take you on a trip to Greece, our Platinum Destination, give you a tour of Platinum homes through the eyes of celebrated interior designers and treat you with our visual stunner – the Photo Feature exclusively put together for the issue.

The issue would be incomplete without a detailed account of a Platinum Life. So, Shobhaa De writes exclusively for us on what accordingly to her is Platinum Living.
And to top it all we bring to you the new –age indulgence of the rich and famous – Yachting. Know all about yachts and the uber-luxurious experience of seeing life through rose-tinted glasses – a special story put together to document the last word is super styles and riches.

That was just a prelude to the special issue. Keeping in mind the on-going festivities, we bring to you a special story on chocolates and mithais, interesting festive buys and quick buys picks and a close look at how music adapts itself to different festivals all over India.

With the onset of winters, it is important to keep yourself in good shape, so Colin Hall, the spa director of Ananda In The Himalayas gives you tips for skin care in winters.

Ireland becomes our Lifelines Pick this time, just as Ananda In The Himalayas leads the pack of spas features in our special section – Lifelines.

All in all, the issue is packed with panache and pizzazz to bring out at an involuntary WOW from you.

There is a popular saying in north India that Teej onsets a wave offestivities - all major Indian festivals follow this celebration of monsoons. So, we dedicate this issue to the grandest and cheeriest of all festivities - wedding! But being a steadfast wellness and lifestyle magazine, we present to you the lessexplored but equally important aspect of weddings - wellness.

Starting with our cover, which depicts a very spa-oriented bride-in-the-making, to exclusive pieces on recommended spa treatments, diet, skin care and pre-wedding blues, we bring you a variety of ways to connect with your inner self while keeping up with bodily fitness.

The star attraction of this special issue is our hand-picked spa destinations around the globe for the eternal romantics. The exhaustive selection lists out the stand-out features and premier treatments at these spas, making it your complete guide to unwinding.

But how can a wedding special issue not touch upon essentials like clothes, jewellery, hair and makeup! So, we have brought together opinions, suggestions and handy tips from those who are an authority in their respective fields. A look at our contributing editors would give you ample idea.

Peppered with sections on must-haves, must-buys, wedding gifts, natural healing, latest beauty treatments and an exclusive bridal photo-feature, this issue is a dream you wouldn't want to wake up from.
